A nice mini-walk was done this morning before the preparation for going to the eye doctor. The sky was very welcoming to us.
The OFM decided to take an easy gentle walk before going to the eye doctor so we meandered around the soccer field and around a couple of buildings we normally did not get near. Then headed home to get ready for the eye exam. The result was two cataract surgeries. One on the right eye November 3 and the left on November 17. Yep it was time and we will like the results. However the right eye that lost the fight with the chair a while back will be getting a closer look during the cataract surgery effort. The doc will be checking it closer at that time. Due to unexpected high internal eye pressure the OFM will be on daily eye drops for an extended time to bring the eye pressure down to a reasonable reading.
So now we get to have fun waiting for our new vision to assist us in trying to have tooooo much fun.
Good news Barney!

DeleteOK. Hope the drops work well. You really did bonk stuff when you and the chair collided. Geez. The cataract stuff is interesting....kind of a 60's light show for a little bit, and nothing hurts at all ever. So it's a fascinating process.

ReplyDeleteThat has to qualify as good news. You should be able to see a lot better with the cataracts removed. Hope you have as good luck with the procedure as I did. It was live changing for me.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I expect to be really happy with the new eye site in 2023.
