Not much happened in the way of adventures today, but it was a pleasant day of fishing, visiting friends and planning rolling. The OFM even culled the painting supplies and bagged the things that he figures he will not ever get good enough to use. And it went to a friend that will put them to good use.

Now all we have to do is get him to get busy exploring, photographing, drawing and painting. We know that as soon as we get rolling he will have an unlimited number of inspirations for a great painting or 300.

Inspirations? West Texas desert? There is nothing out there! It is ugly and boring! OK Keep that thought in mind for the next three months we plan to be roaming out that way.

In the meantime here is a picture of a valley in the West Texas desert.

Then the Devils River is kind of pretty we think. Take a look at this site. The U-tube video to the right of the opening view is pretty fun to watch to the OFM Teams. The OFM has seen parts of that area in person and was impressed.

As of tonight we have some planning details available. We plan to roll west from Rockport January 26, 2020 at the latest. We plan to roll into Decatur, Alabama on April 29, 2020.

We plan to get no farther south than Falcon Lake State Park. No farther west than Datil Well Campground, New Mexico. No farther north than I-40 from Albuquerque, New Mexico to Memphis, Tennessee.  And that is a complete summation of the planned itinerary we know about at this time.
But remember plans are only plans and they may not even begin to look like what really happens.

And Yes we really do think we will have an easy time of trying to have tooooo much fun.
