Rio Grande Gorge, New Mexico

Chilly Weather

 Adventure Location:  Decatur, Al
Adventure Date: 10-02-2020

The last few nights have been downright brisk. Temps have been in the low 40s but with the electric heater running on the 500 watt setting it has been cycling and keeping the Castle and the OFM very nicely warmed. Even the colored pencils have been warm enough to do a good job of laying down the color.

The OFM did put the insulating foam into the windows to help keep the temps more even in the area. Sleeping was great last night for some reason and it felt very GOOD.

The morning walk was after a grocery store run so the OFM would not need so many clothes while walking. It worked out perfect. When he left to walk he wore a tee shirt and it was a bit chilly in the breeze. An hour later on the way back he had worked up a bit of a sweat.  Overall it was a beautiful day but we did not find any pictures needing taking.

However we did get in some time smearing colored pencil on some paper. So another painting has been started.

That is about it for a great day of trying to have tooooo much fun.
