Not much special happening except for getting the truck over to the dealer in the morning for the new transmission to be installed. Supposedly that is a two day event and we should get it back on Thursday IF things go well.
It was a nice walk morning and we had a pleasant time until late in the walk when the temperature took a jump into hot. But we finished in good shape so it all worked out.
The next item on our do it list was grocery shopping and that went really well. Every thing was in good supply that we wanted. The best deal was some very good looking thin cut pork chops marked down 20% that leaped into our basket. We plan on building some great stoup tomorrow while the truck is in the shop.
For some of the afternoon and evening we meandered the campground visiting folks we had not visited in several days. It was a nice evening all around. Now it is time to prepare for getting to the dealers shop so the truck can get started on the new tranny installation. We hope to get the truck out on the Interstate and run it a bit before we couple up and roll west on 9-15.
