Easy 300 Miles

Adventure Location: Roosevelt State Park, Morton, Mississippi

Today's Date: 7-6-2022

We hit the road fairly early this morning and found the traffic nearly not there all day to our stopping place in Mississippi. We picked up our receipt  and were set up about 1400 enjoying the early stop. Yesterday's experiment was a success. We know for sure we still can make that long of a run if we need to and we also emphatically know that we prefer under 300 miles like today.

We should be in our Decatur campsite by 1500

tomorrow and that will be a welcome change from the SALTY humid hot air.

The other good news is some improvement in the recovery from the concussion kabonk on the OFM head. He is feeling more like trying to have tooooo much fun again.

  2. Well you put the concussion protocol to a test yesterday....I doubt that drive was listed. But here you are with a better day behind you and the prospect of being back where you are wanting to be at a decent hour tomorrow.
    Hope all goes well.
