Palm tree thorns
It was another nice cool morning and yet warm enough for shorts and a tee shirt by 1100. We headed over to Portland and the Academy store for some shopping. We came out of the store empty handed.
The rest of the day was a piddle here and a piddle there but nothing bad or great happened. Fishing resulted in a wet hook and line but no action. Walking was just fine and decent but not even a photo showed up to be taken.
Our BIG PLANS for tomorrow is to stop by a store and purchase a ¼ oz. Gold Johnson silver minnow spoon to use fishing. Then we will see if we can find a place to try it out. Speaking of finding a place, this town was overflowing today just as predicted. By 1400 we should be in good shape again for trying to have tooooo much fun.
