Adventure Location: Decatur, Alabama

All good news today. The bad knee was taken for a ssssslow stroll of a mile and a half this morning. The pace was a safe slow recovery type of pace.  It took and hour and twenty minutes. Eight slugs and two dead lizards passed us during the stroll. But the result was about a 50% recovery by blog writing time tonight.

But the peak excitement came near the end of the stroll. A waist high weed was next to the trail. It had a nice head on the weed. The diameter of this head was about an inch and a half. We thought it looked a lot like several of the desert plants we have seen in the past. What do you think?

A couple of friends of the OFM saw the leg mention in the blog and sent us some really important information on healing the trouble. Since applying that information the healing seems to be speeding up. Thank you Susan and Bud. The help is really appreciated.

The Teams first met them in Cottonwood Campground, Big Bend NP. They are a neat pair of folks.

Tomorrow is a grandson school event the OFM is going to attend. You can count on a roomful of 2nd graders working hard at trying to have tooooo much fun.
