Short blog tonight. The OFM underwent the first phase of getting a crown installed on an upper back tooth. He is hurting and not on the top of his game. It was right at two hours in the chair. For some reason it seems everything the dentist did was extra painful. He has been working on the OFM for the last twelve years without a hint of discomfort so it makes us think it is more likely something to do with aging. One article from the Internet mentions that old folks like the OFM sometimes start to react differently to the deadener put into our gums. Any way we are doing Ok except for feeling like a platoon of crazed baboons worked us over with baseball bats. The crown is due to be installed on 8-26-24. So we have been taking it easy all afternoon to be recovered for trying to have tooooo much fun tomorrow in the predicted rain. Good Night.
Have your teeth worked on is not a great way for having tooooo much fun.

ReplyDeleteI am a wimp too and they just keep giving me more shots.. went to dentist Tuesday, had 2 cavities taken care of. I think i am too old to have cavities... normally it is crowns too, teeth keep cracking....
