Grandson and Covid

ADVENTURE LOCATION:

DECATUR, ALABAMA

POINT MALLARD PARK

DATE: AUGUST 24, 2024

The morning temperature was very nice but the sun was blistering strong so we took a walk that stayed in the shade for the most part.

We got in a mile and a half before we decided it was getting too warm for the Ofm.

Late last night an email from the OFM's son came in that grandson Gavin got home from school with a raging temperature and tested strongly for Covid. Welcome back to school.

The rest of the day was spent piddling around thinking about travel planning with nothing decided. It is hot out there these days.

That is all we have happening so have a nice evening.

  1. Sorry to hear about your grandson. My grandson got Covid a month or so ago, and it doesn't seem to affect young kids very much. But I stayed out of the house for about a week, because it does affect us old geezers a bit more than the kids.

  2. Correct about the geezers Tom, which is why it is good news the latest booster has been approved. That and the seniors flu shot is on my list.
