Here We Go Again IV

ADVENTURE LOCATION:

DECATUR, ALABAMA

POINT MALLARD PARK

DATE: AUGUST 27, 2024

We awoke to a warm morning and a trip to the dealer repair shop for the tranny change to start on Sierra. Lo and behold our luck was holding up. The vehicle ahead of us went in for a major tune up yesterday and ended needing a new engine to fix his Corvette. This throws us back a couple of days and with the labor day holiday in the mess we are now scheduled for the tranny change out on Sept 3/4. Oh well at least we are not broke down in the middle of the West Texas/ New Mexico desert. There is a lot of lonesome territory out there. The rolling date should still be good.

Walking has been sporadic and not much in general. Tomorrow is supposed to be a really hot day so it will be another day of staying in cool buildings.

It looks like we will have the opportunity for some indoor art efforts during all this mess and heat. That is all the mess I can recall at the moment so we will bid you Good Night.

  1. I am on Central Time but I am saying by the time we finish our hour bike ride at 10am ... it is HOT and muggy. 90° hot. So it hasn't taken long this week to start the heat wave you are also experiencing.
