A Crown For My Head

ADVENTURE LOCATION:

DECATUR, ALABAMA

POINT MALLARD PARK

DATE: AUGUST 2,2024

Our dental cleaning and exam was for 1030 this morning. We stepped outside for a few minutes to decide that the heat and humidity and dead calm weather deserved the weather forecast calling for heat sickness prevention action to be put into heavy use. So we piddled around a bit and headed to our appointment over in the middle of town.

As is normal for this office everything was on time and well done. The cleaning went very well and the hygienist was exceptionally competent and careful. Then Dr. Monge looked around in our mouth and stared at the xrays for a couple of minutes and then looked in the OFM mouth some more. The final result is a new crown in about a week. He and the OFM had a careful and thorough discussion over the options and the OFM chose the most likely to succeed option of a crown. The tooth is our main grinding up stuff tooth and it is basically just worn out in our opinion and needs a new starting surface. So on the 8-15-2024 we get a crown installed in that location. That should last us until the OFM dies. Everything else in the OFM dental system is just fine.

Lunch was at Burger King as usual and then home to stay in the AC.

BUT when we got home the computer showed that an Amazon order had been delivered at the OFFICE. It was our new watercolor pencils and WOW the OFM was excited. After a bit of considering the OFM got busy trying out his new ideas about using them.

We are trying out some non-standard ways of utilizing water color with colored pencil for certain effects in the OFM art efforts. It is definitely a lot of experimenting fun. Now it is your turn to run around having toooo much fun.
