We got out for the walk this morning at what we thought would be early enough to miss the HOT weather. But before we finished it was too HOT again. So tomorrow will be interesting since it is supposed to be a bit cooler or is that less hot.
So we spent the day on a new coloring we started in colored pencil. After the first bit of coloring we had a sudden wild idea to try watercolor pencils on it since the paper is heavier than the paper we have been working on with colored pencils. So what you see in this photo is watercolor pencil work in progress.
We will see how it goes. Since there is frequent drying time involved, this style of work will take longer than regular colored pencil.
The only other project going right now is gathering together options for travel starting in early September. It sure is hot out west right now.
There is not much happening in this area for excitement either. Maybe that means naps are meant to be happening? Hmmm that sounds good.
As long as you take your time, that picture looks like one that will draw a lot of attention.
