The weather has been not nice since we woke up to the thunder. A couple of times it has been rather violent and at others very heavy rains. So the OFM just did more painting on the painting Stuck Together. This was my first real attempt for a watercolor pencils painting. Of course it was a challenge for us. The succulent colors you see were all from pictures of succulents on the internet, so they are actual colors some succulents come in. That was another surprise for me.
The lighting for taking the picture for tonight was horrible. Outside there were too many shadows between rain storms and inside the LED lighting makes all the colors off a bit to a lot. So you get the least bad one tonight.
Here is Stuck Together , a page from an adult coloring book colorized with the imagination of the OFM.
.
A recent decision the OFM made was to show only his latest coloring on the dinette wall for scaring the spiders and mosquitoes out of the Castle. So far it is working very well.
We bought some frozen chicken to poach a couple of weeks ago, We got busy on that earlier this afternoon after a couple of other chores were completed. While the chicken was cooking we started to plan how we will store it, chopped or whole or what. While the chicken was boiling, the OFM decided that he wanted some brown rice for supper tomorrow night and before you knew it some left over green onion tops and bell pepper got involved. BAM and there we were on the way to full blown stoup.
A couple of spice enhancements were introduced into the mix. Yep it was good but when the chicken was done it was obvious we had too much chicken for salads only so a nice chicken breast was chopped up to join the stoup crowd.
That stoup got a lot better in a hurry. When it was finished it looks like we have 4 meals worth of good eating to feed us for a bit.
Between the stoup and the nice marked down pork chops we picked up yesterday for stir frying with vegetables should make some very good eating for the OFM Teams.
The weather is supposed to be nasty tomorrow also so this may be the quietest Independence Day in a long time here at the Campground.
We are hoping that whatever is bugging the OFM's body will get outta town and leave us alone so we can get busy trying to have tooooo much fun again.
Great job on the succulents painting - it looks so vibrant! Hope those storms don't get the best of you.
