We were at the rock fishing pier this morning with a beautiful day to keep us company. As you can see we had the pier mostly to ourselves.
While we were there the OFM got to thinking about all the bottom fish we were missing out on catching. Then he started thinking about rigging out current lure chunking rig for bottom fishing. Well that was not a good match up. Before you know it we were at a store looking at what we needed for a bottom fishing rig. We had not had one for a long time.
Well now we have a bait style bottom fishing rig on the Teams and it is raring to go. We got it all ready by late evening and took it to the harbor basin to check out if the OFM could still handle a rig like this. His first few tosses were spectacular failures. This is where we were practicing as the sun was falling.
Before long he was doing well with handling the new equipment. With a little luck we will get it into use tomorrow. That will definitely help us toward trying to have tooooo much fun.
