Morning came with a whimper and the OFM rolled out of bed and moved really slowly around getting breakfast and dressed for the morning walk. At least the weather was cool enough for a nice walk. So we took the counter clockwise route which is mostly shaded and then when we got to the bright sun, we turned around and came back still in the shade for about three miles again.
We were down near the water and a great photo opportunity came up. The camera flashed a message on the screen—NO MEDIA CARD. Rats, that super sharp OFM had left the card in the computer last night and also failed to verify it was in the camera before we left for the walk. He is one sharp character like a fresh doughnut. So we do not have any pictures tonight thanks to that genius.
In the meantime something new has moved into the area. The OFM had started getting better handling the massive allergies of the area. Yesterday a new fun time started with something in the air giving him the sneezes often. He can really do a dramatic job of sneezing if someone is watching.
On the fun front the OFM has actually started a watercolor pencil painting. Of course he makes it special since he knows nothing about using those pencils for creating paintings. We figure he is just wasting more paper. But he claims he is doing a good job of trying to have tooooo much fun.
Your adventures with the sunshine gave me thought to the term "posh". "Port out starboard in".
ReplyDeleteThe story I heard was in reference to the British going to India via a ship. Port out starboard in always put the direct sunlight on the other side of the ship.
I had heard that years ago and forgotten it. Thanks for the refreshing of my memory.
