We got an early start this morning when the neighbor started up his loud exhaust motorcycle at 0601 to load it into his travel trailer. He is leaving tomorrow for a month of roaming the Pacific Northwest. I hope it works out well for him.

Anyway we had breakfast, made up a grocery list and headed for the store in nice weather. Shopping went well and as we exited, the greeter said hello and we stopped to visit a minute. Well that was interesting because in the three minutes we said Howdys the weather turned into a horrible rain storm.

The OFM sped to Sierra and got the groceries loaded with only a lot of soaking of the OFM and the groceries.

Back at the campsite Sierra pulled in right next to the Castle's door so rain soaking was at a minimum for us. Groceries were put away and the rain was still pounding everything. Time to check the internet radar for what is going on. By the time we got logged in, the rain stopped but a light drizzle stayed with us for a couple more hours.

So what did we do for the fun. When the rain would slack off, the OFM Walking Team would set out for a romp around. If you count all the short romps we got in a mile and a half in all.

Then we gave up and just worked making happy pencil shavings as we worked on a painting the rest of the day.

As it turned out today, making happy pencil shavings was a good way of trying to have tooooo much fun.
