Rain is today's story. Thunderstorms and rain off and on all day. One shortened walk was taken late morning in the hot humid miserable air.
The exciting part was the berry vines are into heavy production of berries all over the woodsy areas. Here is part of a typical berry vine with lots of berries on the way to being bird food most likely.
We don't want to go into the woods collecting ticks to get the “free” berries.
Piddling with art supplies and re-organizing the food lockers was about it for the day until this evening when we got to talk to an old friend up in Michigan. They just moved into their new to them home and are settling in. Don mowed his new yard this morning as a way of trying to have tooooo much fun?
Sorry for Don. Mowing has never been fun. That's one chore we were glad to leave behind.
