Another very nice day in the country today. The walk went very nicely also. An email from Mary S. wanting to know what the golden flowers fragrance was like led to a repeat of yesterdays trail. It was still a wonderful route again today. As it turned out we reported back that the blossoms smelled like trail dust even after we removed all the dust we could. Maybe right after a rain they might be better.
Nearby was this nice scene from the trail of a beautiful cloud filled bright blue north Alabama sky. We stood around for a few minutes just enjoying the great view. We think it was time well spent.
It is amazing how quickly the greenery rushes into the forest areas. It was only last weekend when this area did not have any greenery and now it is mostly waist deep already.
The greenery seems to be squirting out of the ground like a high pressure water hose with a hole in it. WOW.
There is not a lot of fast and furious excitement happening around lately but it has been some great meandering outside weather. This spring is showing off rather nicely it seems to the OFM.
