We got moved to the new site for longer term camping than 14 days. It is not as nice an area and a huge amount more rigs. However it was the best site available so we grabbed it.
We got finished moving over about 1100 in a slow drizzle. So the OFM went inside to dry out. Lunch time came along so it was off to have a Lawlers salad with BBQ style grilled chicken breast on it. Good grief that is good eating. The OFM ate about half of it and brought the rest home. It was supper.
When we left Lawlers Walmart is next door and the OFM wanted to check on the availability of a couple of items. Both items were not in stock.
As we were leaving the OFM asked at the optical shop if they had any appointments for an exam available. Yep in an hour. So we ran for the Castle and put the food in the refrigerator and headed back to the optical store. The exam was really excellent and new glasses are on order.
The OFM eyes are still dilated so typing and reading is a bit of a chore but we hope the new prescription will help him see much better. Seeing better could have him better at trying to have tooooo much fun.
I think that's the most "popular" campground I remember seeing you in.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy it while you can - the desolate Texas desert is awaiting.
definitely the most rvs per square foot.
DeleteAre all those campers there for longer than 2 weeks? A lot of people living in their campers....
ReplyDeleteProbably over 75% are construction workers living here while the Decatur construction boom continues. Lots of jobs going unfilled in this area.
DeleteYou are one who can see into tomorrow.
