A good walk in the A/C at Walmart made the OFM feel a lot better this morning.  About six laps inside before it started getting a load of folks inside. We have no idea the mile count but the walking time was almost thirty minutes. A few items found their way home with us and one of them provided supper tonight.

The rest of the day was spent doing fun things or napping.  Two nights ago the OFM had a really bad night with interruptions every hour or so.  It seems that today’s extra calm pace and easy going activity was just what was needed.

About six hours of today was spent working and finishing a new painting. It was done in watercolor pencil and as usual has a couple of bad flaws caused by inexperience.  The OFM is learning a lot by watching the Steve Mitchell series named “The Mind of Watercolor”.  He explains things at a low enough level that the OFM sorta understands what he is talking about.

This painting was inspired by a scene we saw and photographed last summer along the Point Mallard walking/biking path. And here is the result of all the effort in the last couple of weeks. Yep the OFM is really slow at this art stuff.

The good part is the OFM really had a great time trying to get this painting done right. It is not quite right but he had a great time of trying to have tooooo much fun.
