It has been a good day of rest and recuperation. The OFM was worn to zero when he hit the bed last night. Then when he tried to get up a bit after 0700 he found that his left ankle was swollen. Apparently one or a few events in grand kid land strained something. But he is healing so he soon can quit all the whining and sniveling.
After laundry was done he got a wild hair and out came the art stuff. The colored pencil drawing that is started just could not incite any worthwhile action. So he got busy and painted a watercolor painting. It must have been fun because he stayed after it for a few hours and finished it. Here is Saddle Mountain Farms for your enjoyment.
Then the last thing tonight was a call to the D-I-L to check on her recovery from the Friday surgery. She says she is dong very well. We hope that means that very soon she will be able to get busy trying to have tooooo much fun again.
