Suck It Up, Buttercup

Let us start the month with a new header picture of Flint Creek. That is a peaceful looking spot and the OFM has used it a few times. Normally during the week it is readily available but on weekend mornings a few folks sit there and enjoy some peace and quiet.

Next we will show off the latest coloring that was completed a couple of days ago but we were not sure we here really finished. But we were and here it is. Its name is Flowers.

We did check out the storage for a new vacuum and there is plenty of room. So when the OFM woke up this morning felling pretty rough for some reason he chose to not take a walk. As the day moved along it was a great choice. Nothing seemed bad or messed up but as the day went on along he got better slowly. So maybe it was plain old age nipping on his backside.

Anyway we made great usage of the spare time and headed to the big Walmart to get a vacuum and food things. The food things are for the next pot of stoup which will use the last of the chicken breasts in the freezer. We have three more stoup meals in the freezer before we run out.

The shop vac $30 came home with us and we got it unpacked and the instructions learned and started to vacuum the floor of the Castle and quickly stopped. We needed suction tube extensions so the OFM does not have to kneel down to clean the floor and lower cabinets. We had them on the last vacuum but sent them away with the vacuum when we got rid of it. So Amazon to the rescue and new extensions should be here Thursday. So by Friday we will have no excuse to stop us from cleaning house.

Back at the Castle we spent most of the day just coloring a scene we liked and it is coming along very well. We got to put in a few hours with no interruption and had a nice gentle afternoon.

By next week we will be having cooler weather with lows in the mid to low 40s and some days with highs in the 60's. That will be some nice walking weather.

Nothing special set up for tomorrow but get well so we can get busy trying to have tooooo much fun again.
