The walk this morning yielded a lot of pictures attempted but the lighting or wiggle or whatever was not so good for most of them. The egret in this picture has been holding control of this domain in the picture ever since we arrived here this year. Apparently it is a good hunting area as the egret seems well fed.
At another location along the path we finally had some white fuzzballs fluff out to show off. We do not recall what kind of plant this is but when it shows off it SHOWS OFF. The only concern is we had to wade into some low brush that may have given us chiggers or ticks to learn to handle again.
And there was a few more red leaves hanging around up in the trees. Most of them were from vines instead of the trees. This one was bright dark red but way up in a tree. The next few days ought to be turning on the fall colors around here, We will see.
The OFM sat at the campground OFFICE from before they closed to thirty minutes after it closed waiting for USPS to deliver our package as promised in the tracking program. Well nothing came here and we went back to the Castle after a half hour of waiting. Checking the tracking program, they claimed they could not find the address and sent the package to another address? What in the devil is going on? They only deliver here every day for the last 20 plus years. The USPS out here is definitely not at its best. Maybe something good will happen tomorrow. Every one get a good rest while the OFM goes ands sits in the refrigerator trying to cool down.
The USPS is a joke here also, when it comes to package delivery. We never get a package on its scheduled delivery date if it comes USPS. They definitely don't live by the old motto someone had that was "we try harder."
