It was a productive chores day in general. Some shopping again and some buying again but nothing really special to report.

So we headed down to Fulton to tour the newish fishing pier. Here is the updated sign for pier use.

We meandered past the entry shack and stopped to take this picture showing how far it goes into the bay. The pier is very narrow and casting hooks could be really dangerous to any body within15 feet.

Down at the tee head is a nice shade shelter. This view is from near one end of the tee head looking at the other end.

The only restroom facility is back off the land end of the pier.

The pier is still new enough that it has not developed a good coating of algae and miscellaneous other barnacles and stuff on the pilings yet. When that develops, likely next year, the fishing could become decent. The park at the land end is well developed and nice to use.

Overall it is a nice location for trying to have tooooo much fun.

  1. Looks like a fine place. I think it’s incredible that the word “Lifeguard” is misspelled on such a large, public sign. And nobody caught the error.
Doesn’t say much about education in this state. Sonebody in the town of Fulton needs to correct it. Meanwhile. May you have fun today.
