This day was rather nice all day. The high point of the day was a visit and lunch with our friends Don and Patsy from lower Michigan who are here for the next few months. They are very enjoyable friends.

The walk this morning was interesting. We got going early and had a very brisk and cool walk. The day warmed up later to very nice temperatures.

The first greeting at the Memorial Park was from this red flower growing next to the restroom facilities.

The walk got started and once again the OFM body let us make a strong (for us) pace along the path. As we swept rapidly along some more green stuff made a nice graphic for our admiration on the pond.

MOTHER NATURE ART

The path was clear and away we went around the back side of the pond and encountered some fresh fall foliage. We do not recall it being there yesterday, but who knows. The leaves were a variety of shades of reds and yellows. Here is a look at the made part of the bush.

When we came around the park to near the parking lot and along side the Frisbee course, a very loud crash at the garbage can nest to the trail and the OFM caused some quick movement by the OFM. When we turned to see what the commotion was about, the Frisbee that hit the can next to us was still flopping around. We just headed on along to Sierra.

We did get a photograph back at the pond that we think could make a very nice wall decoration if framed and matted well. Please check it out.

And the walk was just the beginning of a major effort at trying to have tooooo much fun today.
