Wouldn’t you  know it? After  a  post of nice flowers yesterday, it would be a yucky post tonight.

We have had a mass attack of soldier fly larvae.  About every half hour three to seven of them come crawling out onto the bath mats in the bathroom. They are about 1 inch long and well behaved.

SOLDIER FLY LARVAE

They pick up easily with a bit of toilet paper and get to see the inside of the black water tank. They are firm and easy to spot as well as capture. BUT WE DO NOT WANT THEM IN THE CASTLE.

We have already gotten the OFM sore bodied by having him check with flashlights and mirrors every nook and cranny we can from inside the Castle looking for the source.

If the rain stops tomorrow we will be unpacking the adjacent exterior storage bin to examine what is going on in there. It will also be a good time to wash the bin out and clean it up. WOW that sounds like lots of fun.

The best news is some new art supplies are due to land at our location tomorrow. OH BOY NEW TOYS. That might be a way of trying to have tooooo much fun.
