YEA. No covid stuff to report. It is wonderful.
We had a full day of art stuff for the most part. However the morning was nice enough to get over to Memorial Park and do the 1.5 mile loop at my good speed. All the other folks were pleasant as they sped on past the OFM like he was walking backwards. But that was the first time to do the whole loop well in several days. So the OFM is happy with it.
For the rest of the day, except for lunch, the OFM stayed steady at the art efforts he so much enjoys.
As a result of that effort we have a painting to show tonight. It is the painting done with only watercolor pencils. It was definitely a challenge. It took forever since we had to keep looking up on the Internet for advice and techniques. But it did finally get finished.
Here is Cliff of No Return.
We hope you enjoy it. Producing it was a pretty good way of trying to have tooooo much fun.
I really like those intense blues and the shading. Glad to hear there is no news on the covid front; one case where no news is good news. All are recovered. So are the ones I know. This latest version is invasive, but seems nobody I know has died, and that's good, because they are mostly OLD, like me. Big art show in town; I am thinking of entering a painting I just did to see if it can be judged in. I may take an offer from one of the volunteers to walk it through the entry process for me. What an obituary: She died after the painting she was trying to get into a show was refused anyway. Ha.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Good to see you got some good walking in. Foot must be better.
ReplyDeleteStill not right but useable for meandering. I seem to be getting more injuries since I turned 75.
