Slot Canyon Sunrise

Adventure Location: Rockport, Texas

Today's Date: 4-14-2022

The OFM body started explaining immediately as the OFM awakened this morning. “You STUPID fool, you should know better than to try to go too fast on the trail yesterday. We have been through this all before when you try to force the healing to happen too fast.” The OFM just grimaced and grinned. Yep you are right Mr. Body Sir. So we got off to an easy start on a recuperation day today.

The mile and a half trail was done this morning in half again longer time with a short rest on a bench and massage the left hip area. We finished feeling better than when we started and continued to do better and better during the day. Our guess is at least three more recuperation days are needed.

One short side trip this afternoon was to take a look at how the harbor fishing spots were doing. They were all blown to pieces with the high winds we are having this spring. But here is a nice picture of the harbor interior.

Sierra is turning green from all the pollen production going on these days. Here is a pic of a pollen producer we photographed on the park trail this morning.

This afternoon the OFM stepped outside and noticed the volunteer flower garden right at the trailer steps. So we had to photograph them to show them off.

And finally we have a new painting to show the world. Please welcome

Slot Canyon Sunrise.

It was a great slow day and tomorrow we will check in with Mr. OFMBody before we plan the day of trying to have tooooo much fun.

  1. Glad you are moderating it a bit today. More painting time while you ease up on the long walking....I really like today's. Composition and colors work beautifully. What size is it?
