The OFM and his body were not in sync this morning. The OFM was ready to get busy but his body was hurtful. So we ended up with a nice slow meander around parts of the harbor areas including on the breakwater to the entrance of the harbor.

It was not but a couple of years ago the OFM walked the edge of the breakwater fishing with no trouble at all. Now he walks the middle of the walkway as he wobbles along. But at least he still gets to meander.

This is a picture of a cast net some person threw on top of the shell infested boulders that form the breakwater. Once the netting get tangled with the shells and other ragged edges it is a forever decoration. Cast nets are not cheap either.

When we returned to the harbor road we noticed the succulents growing near the piling. There must be some soil in the crack between the concrete and the piling. The succulents will grow about anyplace in the dock area. In the spring they have beautiful flowers for our enjoyment.

The OFM was not doing any better so we went up by the harbor office to check for more flowers. Sure enough there were these shrubs covered in beautiful pink flowers putting on a show.

Then a trip across the parking lot to the public restroom was in order. In the lawn there were many buttercup flowers having a big get together. The flowers were working hard at out shining each other.

Back at the Castle the OFM took a couple of hands full of Ibuprofen and hit the bed. About an hour later he awoke feeling fine. We have no idea what caused the down time but we are really excited it has been gone the rest of the day while we tried to have tooooo much fun.

  1. Your blog is one I can comment on today. Others are inaccessible to me. Do you know anything about that?
