The OFM rolled from the campground early to head to the party headquarters to help set up things. He arrived at the 4 Wards party location. The four Wards are OFM, OFM’s son, OFM’s grandson and OFM’s grand daughter. Thats a lot of trouble in one spot looking for some place to happen.
The yard and home were ready right on time when the invitees started showing up. From late morning until late afternoon it was non-stop hyper activity and NOISE. The OFM wandered around in shock and awe at what kids could think of to do nowadays.
After the guests left the OFM and his son cleaned up the back yard. The 1000 water balloon remnants were scattered all over the large back yard. So the garage vacuum was set on a kid wagon that the OFM pulled around the yard. Son walked along side manning the vacuum. We made a great team. The OFM guided the wagon near the debris and Son worked the vacuum nozzle to pick up balloon pieces and other bits of trash.
After the yard was squared away, Son cleaned and stored the equipment away. The OFM went inside to help there but the lady of the house and her mother had already put the kitchen in order and moved the decorations and debris to its place. WOW this was a lot of work and everyone was tired.
The OFM left for the hour trip back to the Castle a bit after 1700. Arrival at the Castle very nearly coincided with the start of a three hour nap. The nap was followed by some supper and a shower. This blog entry is being finished about 2245. Bed is next after publishing this about actually having tooooo much fun.ZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz
