Good Walk In the Sun Today

Morning was cool but warming fast. We started out a bit cool with not quite enough upper body clothing but by the time we finished the 2.5 miles we were carrying more clothing than we were wearing. Check out this BRIGHT sunshine we had.

As we were getting back to our campsite it appeared that the Castle and Sierra were having a conference about something but we never found out what.

The walk was a very good one and much needed by the OFM.

The mail we were waiting on showed up this afternoon sort of. Two tax documents we need are still “on the way”. So we wait another week. Might as well just relax and enjoy it here in this nice area.

Stoup changes were promised but we wanted to try out the changes before we presented them. We think it will be a good change. In the past we put in too many primary flavors of items. Today we deliberately made stoup with a primary flavoring and the other flavors of food in the pot were used in less strength. So tonight we ended up with a Wolf Brand Chili base flavor and added many more flavors in less strength. It seemed to the OFM that it really made the total package a lot better overall.

The trouble we almost ran into was the quantity of food space in the freezer. The freezer is full now to the brim so to speak.

We need to be careful until we get the feel for the new change in style. One two liter stoup pot full is five servings for the OFM. However a full freezer is a good sight when out boondocking.

We are hoping to get going on a new small coloring tomorrow. We are planning on it being one of three we like equally.
