Canyon Church

Adventure Location:

Decatur, Alabama

Date: February 4, 2024

We awoke to rain battering the Castle this morning along with cold winds. A very not nice day it turned out to be. This morning was spent considering where to roll to if we ever get to roll again.

At least we had grocery shopping to help pass the morning. Since we were not in a hurry, it turned into a stoup planning trip and we ended up with lots of ideas for the new style of stoup we are trying to develop. Some of the ideas could get very interesting. We shall see.

Part of the cooking trouble the team has is the size of the portions that stores sell is so large that the OFM seldom gets to use half of the portion before it gets too old to safely eat. He makes a five or six meals pot of stoup normally and that is only enough to use about half the fresh ingredients. So lots goes to waste or given away.

On the health front the OFM is doing very well again and really looking forward to a bit warmer weather very soon.

This evening we finished the latest coloring named Canyon Church and here it is for your enjoyment.

The rain is still rattling the roof a bit but is supposed to clear out soon so we can all go and find some good fun to have.

  2. The smaller portion thing is something I've noticed as I'm getting older...

  3. Since y are not eating like you used to, might consider freezing your Stoup, then using some for snack a well as Veggie Wraps.
    Nice job on the painting.
