Adventure Location: Rockport, Texas

Today Date: 4-2-2023

We actually explored two new to us trails in this Rockport area today. And took a good look at another that we found out about this morning. It still needs a full exploration to be able to report on it in full. And we still have to redo another trail we did not cover properly so we have plenty to do for a few days.

The winds have been blowing strongly and making fishing a mess but for some reason the mosquitoes are doing just fine out on the trails. Two of them on the OFM's arm were arguing about which part of the arm to eat now and what part to take home when the OFM ended that discussion for them SPLAT.

But tonight we have the results of the latest attempt at art by the OFM Art Teams. It is totally from a blank sheet of improper paper from a Walmart tablet labeled WATERCOLOR PAPER. That tablet is now marked as scratch paper for our future reference. The media is colored pencil, watercolor paint and watercolor pencils. Yep it was a major learning event (and a mess).

Now the Art Team has to clean out our current working stuff and get rid of the things we know are junk and order a bit of artist grade things so the OFM can quit having that excuse for lousy work. We think it will be great fun. Of course we still have to go meandering to get items to write about in the blog. Meandering is a wonderful way of trying to have tooooo much fun.
