The OFM decided today that the small clock and small thermometer we changed to during the putting of pictures on the walls was just too small for his eyes. Particularly when he is moving about with just the night light on at night. He doesn't like having to turn on the big light and wake himself up too much to see what time it is.

So we made a trip to Walmart and they had a nice looking new clock for the wall. It came home with us. The smaller art effort was removed to make room for the large thermometer to fit under the new clock. And now the OFM is very happy.

Lunch and supper was a huge stuffed baked potato. Let us tell you that getting around that remaining potato for supper was a great way of trying to have tooooo much fun.

  1. That is the same clock we have in the RV. I put a piece of sticky velcro on the back to help it stay on the wall as one road was bumpy enough to bounce it off the screw head it hung on. The fall broke the plastic cover but it still worked well without a cover.

I'm not sure if I want to admit it but I bought one of those "day of the week" clocks too, it did help from time to time when I wondered "what day is it?"

  2. We did the same thing adding a complete Weather Station in our Avalanche.
Looks like seeing the Temperature will be another way of having tooooo much fun.
    Be Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.

  3. I've been working on learning that knowing what time I am up in the middle of the night is not important knowledge. Since I started ignoring the time, I'm actually sleeping better. Apparently I had trained my body to wake up at certain times after having noticed what those times were.

    1. I don't have a clock where I sleep anymore, I moved it. If I know what time it is I'll start thinking about it and the next thing I know I'm awake. I have to actually go look to see what time it is if I really want to know.
Usually the sun light wakes me up.
