The OFM woke earlier than usual this morning. So we got an early start to the day for a change. During the walk we got to visit with a local person who was fishing near the trail. We had a nice visit while he caught a large mouth bass.

There was a lady walking nearby on the other side of the path with her grand child. Suddenly she screamed and jumped 37 feet into the air while holding her grand child. The only reason we could find out for that action was a 30” fat copperhead snake that came out of the grass about a foot from her foot. The snake jumped into the swamp water and the lady calmed down. That was exciting.

For lunch, Sierra took us to Lawler's BBQ for a big salad with a smoked chicken breast and sweet tea. Yummy it was good.

On the way back to the Castle, Sierra messed up and turned into the Hobby Lobby parking lot. Since we were there the OFM went in to just nose around. There were lots of neat things priced at 150% of list price. We walked out late with nothing spent in the store.

But when Sierra got us back to the Castle, the OFM pulled out the Neocolor II water soluble crayons and started to work on another painting. They are very bright and easy to use. We use a waterbrush for painting with these as you can see in the picture below.

The OFM is really enjoying using these crayons and the bright colors they provide. He likes them so much he has ordered the largest set they make so he can have a better choice of shades of all the hues. We are looking forward to using these crayons in the future effort of trying to have tooooo much fun.

  1. Let's think this through, you started buying coloring books, and now you're buying crayons to color in the coloring books?.... I think you might be okay until you start eating the crayons, then you will have come full circle.
