NEW LIFE STARTING TODAY

This morning I finally got in the computer after a long episode dealing in difficulties for a lot of weeks of hospitals etc. This morning I am being checked into an assisted living facility near my son in north ALABAMA near Madison. No wreck or damage to me from impact or anything like that but but the recovery time predicted is several months. Likely total recovery is about 95% in my opinion. Looking forward to once again being able to participate in the fun.

  1. Glad to hear you are doing okay. The last thing I had heard were the possible plans for a change in your traveling. I am also glad you are close to your son and grandkids. That will help in your recovery.

  2. Yikes! Glad you are where you need to be for now. Post when you can, even if it's just a "still alive" post. Froggi Donna

  4. Thank goodness! Have been checking many times every day! Am so glad to know you are all right! Hope you will tell us what happened? You usually do. I remember the rowdy chair episode, etc. Hope you recover and join us here---- You have many "family members"! So appreciate the wonderful part you have played in my life over many years. Rose

  5. So glad to finally hear that you are back in action even if your future travels may be limited. It seemed that I became an information hub trying to find you by readers that noted how often I have commented on your post. Rumors, varied from a Traffic Accident to a Fall, then finally your Computer causing your absence. It might be wise to show your son how to post on your behalf, in case another such emergency arises again. Recovering with family nearby is an important part of having tooooo much fun, especially with the Grands.
Stay Safe and Enjoy the recovery.

It's about time to get better.

  7. Yes, Barney. Please do that for us. Have your son able to let us know what happens. It is SUCH a lost feeling to not be able to reach you and be so worried about you. Meanwhile, know that you are loved, and please take care of our OFM as best you can.

  8. I'm glad you're back online Barney, and hopefully you're feeling a lot better. Sounds like it's gonna take a little while for you to get back to normal, but your strong, and have always had a zest for life so I'm sure in no time at all we will be boondocking together in some empty field with a view of the water telling each other lies and war stories.

Since its gonna take several months for you to get back to normal, that should make you right as rain by Fall when boondocking is at its best. So take it easy, rest up, and you'll be heading for the Texas coast and the Gulf of America in no time at all.

Tom..... Having toooo much fun reading your blog again.
