UGH morning already. The OFM was not feeling on top of the world. More like under the garbage pile was like it. But he got up and began to move around. Thoughts of what needed to be done today slithered through his skull like a bad dream. After breakfast he decided he needed to at least take the trash to the dumpster so off we slowly went. The weather was pretty nice so by the time we got to the dumpsters the OFM was making pretty good time walking and he decided to try to get in some more walking time. On southward we went and out the back end of the campground. Then we hooked a left and walked along the pathway next to the soccer field . Things were getting better for the OFM when the sky noise suddenly got a lot louder. Suddenly from below the tree line a couple of million or so birds started milling around in the sky making big circles until they headed of to the south west.
Then they were gone poof.
Well the OFM decided to walk a bit more and we had a nice 2 mile saunter through the woods and back to the Castle. It turned out to be a good morning after all.
After a late lunch we returned home and did some homework straightening up stuff and getting rid of more excess things in the Castle.
The OFM got a wild hair to try the new eye doctor at Walmart and see if he could help us with the OFM eye troubles. So off we went to him. He seemed reasonable and pleasantly answered all the OFM questions. Then we did a full exam and ended with noticeably different prescription glasses. We also discussed the night vision troubles and what he thinks we need to do about that. His answers matched the three sites on the internet we had checked. So now we have new glasses due in a few days. My old glasses were really off prescription wise from the new glasses. We shall see how things work out. And that takes care of the whole day of excitement we had. Good night.
I recall getting Prescription Glasses where the lens had been reversed. Nearly lost my lunch.
ReplyDeleteHopefully this will help with your balance issues and may even help your night vision.
Be Safe and Enjoy having tooooo much fun.
