MADISON, ALABAMA
The big move of residents was today and a serious mob of folks showed up to get everyone moved into their new apartments. Very little trouble happened but a couple of the very old folks still could not understand why they had to be bothered since the construction is outside not in the room. The construction is actually under their floor but that was not comprehendible to a couple of them. Anyway it all went well and by night everyone was in their new location in the building.
All of the rest of the facility is still operating as normally and things are going well. Tomorrow might be a peaceful day. Have fun. OFM.
It's always good when things go according to plan. I gather there will be lots of hammering???
ReplyDeleteI do not know. It is a failure of the building foundation causing the repair. They are tunneling under the building to see what they need to do and could not be sure the residents would be safe during the tunneling and repairs if something went wrong. So they wisely just cleared the area of concern of folks until the repair is finished.
DeletePeople in the advanced stages of Dementia would find it hard to understand the need for Safety.
