MADISON, AL
It was a nice day overall with nothing special happening but nice meals all three times. A painting was finished and shown to a few folks who thought it was a nice one. So did I.
It looks like winter is finished with us and gave us us a nice sunshine day with a high of 65f. Yep I went outside a bit to enjoy it. In my therapy session I achieved the lesson goal in decent time and got a passing grade. The Dementia seems to have progressed a bit. It is a bit worse now but the therapy gets changed tomorrow to meet the new needs. These folks are big on jumping on a new trouble with kick ass boots on immediately and not piddling around. I am very fortunate in getting to be a patient of this treatment group.
That is it for excitement around here today.
Time for a good nap. Have fun. OFM
I have been following your experiences for years. It certainly sounds like you are in a great facility with those that know what they are doing. Good to hear you are hanging in there and having as much fun as you possibly can.
ReplyDeleteHave you considered asking any of the therapy people to assist you in getting your photos on the blog?
ReplyDeleteIt could be a part of your therapy to see if when taught you can retain the steps to do it. Especially if it's a goal of yours, it could prove useful to keep you learning and give some more brain training. If it's a pain in the patooty, never mind. Love & hugs to you, Barney.
Yep except I have been teaching them about photography.
DeleteI have never heard of a live-in facility that is so on top of everything! You are one lucky guy to be there!! Keep on trucking!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comment. My son's mother in law, a MANY years RN working in old folks medicine, chose this place for me. She did fantastic.
DeleteWish we had a place like your's here. Kathy could use it.
ReplyDeleteStay Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
