Cold weather is still here and barely made it above freezing during the day. Tomorrow is supposed to be above freezing and that's the end of freezing weather for a few days. YAHOO.

Today the OFM got to tryout his new colored pencils. They are VERITHIN by prismacolor. I was very excited to try them since they are "hard lead" pencils instead of the Prismacolor normal colored pencils I now use.  The report is yuck. They were so badly made the pencil sharpeners I have used for years was unable to get decent points on them and the wood part of the pencils kept on splitting and breaking. Finally I gave up on them after ruining a couple of them. Nope not for me. Back to old reliable I went and finished the coloring tonight. It came out well in spite of me.

Saturday starts the delivery of SEVERAL  items I have been waiting for Christmas to get over with before ordering. They are due to start arriving Saturday and will be delivered over the next two weeks. It is a pain in the rump to not be able to drive to Walmart etc, and just run in to get little things.  But that is what I have lived long enough to be encountering.

We had an inmate of this facility take a ride in an ambulance right after lunch but no one knows why. It is not usually a good thing when that happens in this facility.  However I was over in the foyer area looting the free snacks counter  about 7 PM when up pulled an ambulance returning the inmate to his bedroom. He smiled at me as they rolled him past me.  So tomorrow at breakfast we might find out what happened.
