MADISON, AL.
We had a little excitement last evening late. I was sitting enjoying some nice coloring time when the fire alarms went off and scared me. But they kept on sounding off and folks started taking it seriously. Then the caretakers circulated among us and started getting folks toward the correct doors but soon the word was sent around it was a false alarm. Folks calmed down. Later in the evening we found out that someone in the MEMORY section of the building had put a slice of bread into a microwave to toast it and then left leaving the microwave going full blast. The microwave eventually put out enough smoke to set the system off. There was not much danger of a serious fire but at least I know for sure what I will do if the fire alarms go off again. Every thing got settled down soon and we had a good nights sleep.
My therapy session today went very well. It seems that my brain is holding things pretty well intact at its current ability. It is known that that is about the best we can expect from the Dementia I am afflicted with. Gaining anything back is highly unusual.
That's about it for tonight. Get busy and have too much fun for me.
