PLAIN LIVING

 MADISON, ALABAMA

GOOD MORNING.   It has been a few days since the last posting so here goes a post about nothing again. Everything is going fine. By the same token nothing is happening but regular sleeping and decent meals. The biggest thing I can think of  is that switching to synthetic sweeteners from regular sugar in my excessively sweet tea has let me sleep all night without waking every hour or so all night long.  Since the day after the switch I have slept the whole night all but one time and that one was a bathroom trip necessity from too much water sipping as I piddled around in my room that evening.  So we might say I have made progress. Anyway I hope everyone is safe and well while trying to have toooooooooooooooo much fun.

  1. Unfortunately, Barney, the fake sugars trick your body into thinking it IS sugar. It will make you fat just like sugar if you indulge too much. I honestly don't think fake sweeteners are good for you. Do you still drink green tea? I've found tea bags I like and sweeten it with honey. Honey doesn't raise your glycemic index like sugar, is a natural product and has several varieties. Orange blossom is the lightest tasting. Brazillian Pepper is my favorite, but hard to find. Usually get it at farmer's markets. Local honey's are the best as they can help with allergies. You'd probably have to buy your own as I doubt the kitchen would provide it for you. Anyway, something to consider. Love & hugs to ya!

    1. P.S. Honey is still a sweetener so I use it sparingly. It's not cheap either.
