The contraption is still in progress and will be for several more days at the rate progress is being made for now.

During our walk this morning we found out that things are getting a little horsey around here.

We have no idea who all those folks were in the outdoor shelter.

The day was not very hot today so the walk went very well except for the lack of new picture stuff. We stayed mostly on the paved places since the grave trail had some very large MUDDY places on them. The many shallow puddles on the paved areas were not a trouble for the Teams. The best we could tell about 2 miles were made before we chose to quit.

Pine trees drop a lot of mess on the Castle and the camp site. So finally today while the OFM was at the building supply store trying to get some contraption things, he picked up a cheaper yard blower so we can keep the site clear of so much vegetation that gets tracked into the Castle.

Blower Box waiting for a ride to the dumpster.

We are hoping to get going on a preliminary sketch for a new painting tomorrow. The idea comes from a picture taken several months ago down in south Texas near Falcon Lake. It will be a real challenge for the OFM's “abilities” with pencils and paint. Don't look for it to appear here any time soon.

But the challenge will be a great way of trying to have tooooo much fun.

  1. A leaf blower!! You bought a leaf blower? If I may be so bold as to make a suggestion, I would recommend the next time you get the urge to buy any form of lawn care equipment such as, but not limited to, rakes, shovels, lawnmowers, edgers, manure spreaders or snow shovels, you run, don't walk, out of your building supply store, pack up your trailer, and leave..... And keep leaving until your an RVer again.
