Look out world here comes
Gavin Carter Ward
19 inches
7 ½ pounds
Everyone is doing well.
He arrived on scene this afternoon to much applause and
happiness. The OFM is now also the OFG(randpa). It looks like I will have my
hands full teaching the whippersnapper about trying to have tooooo much fun.
TheOFG.
Adventure Location: Morton, MS
Roosevelt State Park, Ms
This is the camp for tonight. It is very close to I-20 on my way to see
Gavin. Tomorrow will be a long drive day
again. But the reward will be well worth it.
The campsites are all concrete paved to my surprise and
very level right to left. The site I was assigned is lake view.
For some exercise my body took a short hilly hot sweaty
walk around the near area. Back in a far corner was a small pond that had a
scenic appeal to me.
And at another point there was a good view of the main
lake. The main lake looks like another
good one for yakking.
Places like this will be good for getting Gavin out
trying to have tooooo much fun. TheOFM.

Congratulations and enjoy every moment you have with him. He'll be fishing pretty soon, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteHow about in th yak and fishing tomorrow??
DeleteCongrats!!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much.
DeleteCongratulations! Looks like you'll have a pretty good start on a grands (grandchild) team! Enjoy them while there young, when there are teens don't talk;)
ReplyDeleteMy best to the new baby, his parents, and of course grandpa! You will have lots to teach him.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful day for your family! My first born grandson is Gavin, too. You're going to love being Gavin's Grandpa!

Congratulations...being a Grandpa is the greatest adventure ever .....Health and a lifetime of fun and happiness to Gavin...Horst sends
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Barney. When you get there, let us see a picture of you holding that little whippersnapper. Save that picture and someday when you are teaching him how to bass fish you can show him that picture and tell him you have caught bass bigger than he used to be.
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Gramps.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to you and your family Barney. Drive careful and get there in one piece so you can hold that new baby. That's a definite way to have too much fun!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your beautiful new grandson! I'm positive you and he will be off having adventures in no time flat!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the new grand baby. He sure is cute, with his chubby cheeks.
ReplyDeleteCongratulation, Gavin is a beautiful baby. You are in for the time of your life because Grands are about the best invention God has ever thought of. My oldest is 7 and youngest is 2. All 5 give me joy greater than I could have ever imagined. So get ready for lots of fun and love.
ReplyDeleteCongratulation Grandpa!! Whoo Hoo! What a cutie!! Grand kids are our reward for making it thru raising our children. My grand daughter is 12 she is the highlight of mine and Rick's life!! OF course she is now getting to the age she hangs out with her friends more than us...but that is just part of her getting older!
