The Golf Master

Adventure Location: Deming, New Mexico

Many chores waited for the OFM today.  Laundry was finally done in the very pleasant laundry near the golf course in Deming. There has always been nice folks to visit in the laundry.
Then it was grocery shopping at Wal-Mart.  The Deming Wal-Mart is a very good one. It carries a very complete selection of foods that I like.  By now it was getting up to the 90+ range on the thermometer so the Teams went back to the Castle. By the time lunch was eaten and the new food put away it was nap time.  And did the Ofm ever nap.  The timer alarm was not heard from five feet and it really did feel good to sleep extra.

Goofing off for over an hour was also nice. But then duty called.  The Golfing Team required some practice to be done at the excellent practice facility of the local golf course.  But an hour in that 100+ heat was enough, so we went over to the retired Golf Master Wayne.  It has been over a year since we got to visit.
The Golf Master

His medical troubles have really slowed him down physically. However his mind is still sharp like his wit.  We had a great visit.
Next door to the Golf Master is the structure made famous in BillyBob’s Blog.  Da Porch is still awaiting the return of BillyBob and the world famous Sadie Mae. BB is in Georgia doing a magnificent make over on Sally Da House his motorhome.  For update check his blog.
Da Porch

This has been a wonderful day of trying to have tooooo much fun. TheOFM.

If you do another visit to "pesky", take your laptop and show Wayne the progress on "da house".

  2. Really glad to see that Wayne is doing well and he is looking good - much better than Billy Bob's "da porch".

  3. Sorry your friend is not well but glad that he is better than he had been. I checked out Billy Bob's blog. I had wondered about him since I have seen his name a few times. Nice motorhome and I like that little porch. Being from the Mid-west/south I miss a good porch. We don't have many here in CA.
