Teams Location: Rockport, Texas
This video is fantastic from the shuttle SRB during launch and return to earth.
It has not seemed to be a very busy time here in
Rockport. Last night a tally was made of some of the chores accomplished while
here these few weeks.
Screen door latch replaced
A/C motor replaced
The Yak and all its gear sold
Repaired and finally gave up and replaced two fishing
rods
Received my first tattoo
New camera received and put to work
Cut the bed platform down for more leg room
Installed lifting assistance on the bed platform
New air card antenna installed
New replacement light fixture installed
Rugs in the Castle changed out
Installed new lower gearing on my bike
Just thinking of all that activity makes me want another
nap. We lazy fat men need to be careful we don’t use too much energy and
interfere with naps.
A package that came in yesterday was a device to carry
lawn chairs and ladders on the Castle’s permanent ladder. My thanks go to Lloyd for the information on what
has worked for him in his travels. He has been a great mentor to me in my
travels. Check out his blog.
It appears that the ladder will ride very well on the
Castle ladder. This will make the back
of the truck quite a bit quieter. If the teams ever move again it will seem
like a lot less load without having to worry about a yak and the associated
gear to pack away.
Simpler and lighter is definitely better when you are
trying to have tooooo much fun. TheOFM.
That looks like a nifty gadget there for hauling stuff on the RV ladder.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see you have it anchored down real good too. I hate having to drive around ladders in the middle of a freeway lane that people have lost.
