Early Work

Adventure Location: Rockport, Texas
Teams Location: Rockport, Texas

0845 saw me out early in the cool 82 degree saltwater laden air to go do laundry.  However the fishing pier ambushed me in the gentle 20 mph wind and made me attempt to do some fishing. However the jellyfish were having a major convention and when my lure was cast out from the pier, it just laid on top of the jellyfish mob.  That was a very crazy thing to see.

You can see for yourself that the jellyfish is thick.  So with that in mind the OFM Fishing Team headed back to the Truck to do house work called laundry.
Hold it a minute! Where did that rock come from in the water?  It wasn’t there yesterday. Well it wasn’t a rock but a deceased turtle.  It was probably in the area to feed on jellyfish.  It did not appear to have been killed by humans.

When the OFM Fishing Team came back in the evening, the turtle was gone.  The Aransas County Navigation District that controls this area does a great job of keeping things like this cleaned up.
No fish were caught today by me, but Pop again did get one very large fat trout to take home.  My big success was accomplished while sitting in the parking lot of the laundry facilities the Laundry Team uses.

A book that has been being read off and on for nearly two weeks was finished.  And then while the clothing was drying, the book was taken back to the library to be reinstalled in its home on shelf in the art section.
All this extreme exciting activity demonstrates that the OFM Teams work hard at trying to have tooooo much fun. TheOFM.

  2. Are the turtles imune to the toxins in jelly fish? Maybe that turtle just ate too many of them ore got an extra toxic one.

  3. The poor turtle might have eaten trash. They think plastic bags are jellyfish, and the plastic blocks their digestion, killing them. A very sad sight.
