Teams Location: Rockport, Texas
WIND and storms are the controllers of the OFM Teams
today. The storms came and went several
times during the day so the Teams stayed mostly inside being bums. And it was nice.
Over at the Rockport Beach walkway on the bulkhead was
some excitement. This ought to make for a fun stroll in the cool of the evening
don’t you think.
Late in the day the Truck was having a hissy fit to go
for a ride, so we did. At an old boat
yard are these boats that need a bit of spiffing up. Some elbow grease and soap ought to have them
ready to go in short time.
At the back of the park on a finger from the peninsula is
an area the black skimmers use for nesting each year. The attendance this year is up and space is
at a premium.
Aren't you glad you have a yak instead of one of those big boats? Of course maybe you could fix one of those up to carry your yak to oss-shore islands.
ReplyDeleteYep DD. I had enough power boats to not want them anymore.
DeleteThe second happiest day of my life was when we got our boat, the happiest day is when we finally got rid of it!
ReplyDeleteMotor boats are money pits. We gave up our 17 foot Rinker and I don't regret it. My son misses the water skiing though.
