Adventure Location: Kingsville, Texas
It is time to get out of bed you LAZY BUM. Off to the necessities room and then come back to make the bed. OOOOWWWW that hurts. A nerve pinch in my lower spine nearly collapsed me. That is misery when it happens. So the rest of the day has been spent being careful.
However the food supply is low enough that a 22 mile one way trip to the grocery store in Kingsville was needed. On the way there a sign attracted the Truck to leave the main highway for a side road. The Truck was right. There was a small adventure awaiting the crippled up OFM. It is labeled a birding site of some sort.
The path to the site was not in great shape but the Exploring Team handled it well.
At the end of the path was the bird blind/ information center. The colorful signs were chock full of good info for the Team.

Of course we need a picture of the mosquito breeding grounds, oops I mean pond.

The trail can be traveled by crutches and canes but not with wheeled assistance type devices. There was great parking and an easy turn around for the Truck. The site is on road 1717 to the left as you leave Kingsville on hwy 77.
Nothing much was done the rest of the day but treat the back gently. Hopefully tomorrow some washing of the Castle can be done. Care will need to be taken during the efforts at trying to have tooooo much fun. TheOFM.
