Higher Prices For Rent

Last night while checking for possible locations and campgrounds to visit, it was noted that Lady Bird Campground in Fredericksburg suddenly increased the rates from $200 for two weeks to $175 per week. Monthly went up over 30% from $300 to $395 a month. It would be nice if the SSA would up my SSA the same percentage. WOW this prices this Team out of the Fredericksburg Texas area. Kerrville and Comfort also have just about priced this Team out of that area. Man these increases are a real kick in the where it hurts most. Now more planning is in order.

Man there is a lot of full campgrounds this spring break week. Most of the afternoon was spent calling campgrounds or checking state parks by internet for openings for the Team. At least the laundry was done. Then a grocery run into Kerrville was made so a final stop at The Lake House restaurant for fried catfish could happen. Then back to the Castle to put groceries away.

Wow that is nice outside so off to the FREE golf practice facility the Truck and OFM went. It was a great practice session with good results. Now all that is needed is to retain the education for longer than one sleep.

Rolling time is in the morning. The Castle and Truck are already coupled waiting. With all the full campgrounds it seemed wise to get a reservation when one opening was found. It will be a surprise to you when you find out about it. Here is a hint. It is in an area with lots of pine trees, small lakes for the yak and fishing, two affordable golf courses, a 26 mile round trip paved bike path and near to a good sized river for more playing. Hiking trails wind around in the pines. Donkeys to pet. There are no mountains but lots of small hills. Incidentally there is a supposedly great BBQ place just down the road and most importantly a Whataburger.

Sounds like I will have my hands full for a while trying to have tooooo much fun. TheOFM.
